Formed in 1911 and with some alterations to the course over the years, it boasts some of North Canterbury's finest scenery which takes you on a journey through stunning views of the breathtaking mountains and challenging golf holes. The perfectly manicured brown top grass fairways and greens present the golfer with a standard playing condition all year round. If not for the challenging course, then come and play for the crisp mountain air, wide open spaces and the freedom of crowds & city noise. The course layout is suitable for all ages and abilities and visitors are always welcome.

Hanmer Springs Golf club Championship Finals 2026

With several fiercely competitive finals played in a friendly and respectful manner, our 2026 championship reached an exciting conclusion on Sunday.

The results:

Ladies Silver: Abi Middlehurst beat Sandra Best

Mens Senior: Steve Pearson beat Brent Berry

Mens Intermediate: Mike Gibbon beat Paul Jones

Ladies Junior: Jade Sadler beat Boio Sarahu Hothersall

Mens Junior: Ken Williams beat Craig Meaclem
