US Captain 2YO continues winning march to Sire Stakes!

Hawaiian Warfare continues to deliver as he prepares for the Delaware Sire Stakes at the end of September. Now the winner of three of his four starts, the two-year-old led throughout to defeat older opposition at Harrington on Tuesday.

Wai Eyre Farm spoke to his owner/breeder, Forrest Bartlett, about how he came to breed to US Captain while he was still racing. A man with a special connection to the great pacer, Forrest Skipper.

US Captain has seven foals in the US, two have won and six have either raced or trialed to date. He presents amazing value at just $3,000 plus GST, with the working fee included for mares bred at Wai Eyre Farm or Macca Lodge.

NORDIC CATCHER S equaled the world and track record while winning the $100,000 (Grade 3) Sebastian K Free-For-All Trot in 1:50.3f.

Driven by trainer Ake Svanstedt who co-owns with Little E LLC, the now-4-year-old 2025 Hambletonian champion has valiantly returned to stakes competition to grab his second win of the season. The son of SIX PACK was bred by Nordic Horse Farm and Joie de Vie Farm, and returned $4.60 as the 6-5 second choice.

RESOLVE TO WIN finished second; HILLEXOTIC was third.
