A special moment for our Junior Vikings on Saturday, signing off the 2026 season by running out of the Premier Men’s changing sheds to a huge welcome from their adoring fans! 🙌

Safe to say the occasion got the adrenaline pumping… some were so fired up they had to be retrieved from the far side of the grounds! 😂🏃‍♂️💨

A brilliant way to finish another great season in the blue and gold. 💙💛

This afternoon represents a significant milestone for a true club man who has stuck with Shirley through thick and thin!

Today is another perfect example, answering an SOS and pulling on the jersey when the Premier Men needed him.

50 blazer games built on loyalty, toughness and always putting the club first.

Congratulations Mike. A massive achievement for a loyal Shirley man and a true Viking 🔵👏

The Premier side is locked in for Saturday as we take on Belfast at Sheldon Park.

There is nothing left to save. Empty the tank, leave it all out there and stand shoulder to shoulder for one last battle.

Time to raise the shields, finish on a high and send the season off the Viking way.

This season was never going to be measured by results alone.

It has been a year built on resilience, strength and refusing to fold. The kind of season that tests a club, but also shows what it is made of. In time, we may look back on 2026 as an important foundation stone in the Shirley Rugby Club story.

Now it is time to get together, recognise the people who kept showing up, and finish the season on a positive note.
