The Christchurch Adventure Park is set on 358 private hectares in Christchurch’s Port Hills. The Adventure Park is a resource that is utilised by the local community as well as domestic and international visitors with uphill climbing tracks, a fully licensed cafe as well as a series ziplines. The Park sets a new benchmark for mountain biking internationally with the first chairlift specifically designed for mountain bikes and their riders open all year round.

Our September/October School Holiday MTB Programmes are back, and bookings are now open!

Designed for kids aged 7–12, these full-day sessions are all about building confidence, having fun outdoors, and learning new mountain biking skills in a safe, supportive environment.

🏁 SPECIALIZED WINTER GRAVITY SERIES — RACE 4 | DOWNHILL

What a day on the hill! 🤘

The day started off with mint riding conditions, and the trail was absolutely firing. The feedback from racers was epic, with plenty of comments about the track being gnarly, fast and seriously fun! 🔥

Unfortunately, as the day progressed, the wind picked up to a point where it wasn’t safe to run race runs. As a result, seeding times have been used for the final results.

A massive thanks to everyone for your patience and understanding as we worked through the conditions, and an even bigger thanks to all our race marshals and crew for helping keep things running safely on the hill. 🙌

That brings us one step closer to the final race of the 2026 Specialized Winter Gravity Series...

We’re looking for a reliable, motivated Chef who loves food and great customer service. We’re particularly keen to hear from those with experience in baking, preparing sandwiches, breakfast service and cabinet food.

☕ Duty Manager / Barista
Join the café crew as a senior team member, helping deliver excellent customer service and keeping things running smoothly. We’re looking for someone with a great can-do attitude who’s reliable, motivated and happy to get stuck in.

Good Morning CAP Family! Giving you all an update as many of you might have noticed smoke coming from our hillside. This was caused by the logging companies slash pile combusting. Firstly: The fire department was quick to respond and are in control of the situation! We may see smoke for a while as water is applied and it smolders. Secondly: As we head into a potentially very dry and warm summer, its another reminder to be fire smart around the port hills, specifically the Christchurch Adventure Park. We will be working with the logging company to ensure they leave a tidy work site to reduce the nerves going into summer. Thanks to everyone who called in. Remember, If you see anything suspicious, please alert the authorities so we can continue to enjoy the wonderful place we have in our backyard! Thanks - CAP Ops Team.
