Last weekend was pretty incredible and I'm so proud of my little mare Tigress EPH for winning the Carla Barakat Memorial South Island Endurance Champs 160km*** I would like to thank the Waitaki Endurance Club for all your efforts into running a fantastic event and providing us with what was a fantastic Championship track well done.
Also a special thank you to our Naming sponsor Carla. It was a wonderful event to remember such a formidable member of our Endurance Community so a massive thank you to Ian Gray.
A big thank you to all the land owners it was really amazing to be able to ride over your country and experience your back yard. Thanks to all the sponsors Zilco, arrow flight photography, CEN nutrition, fiber fresh, vet pro.
I would also like to make a special thank you to Pro Dosa Boost your advice and support corinne has been amazing and truly appreciate the help you have given to ensure we have been getting the most benefit from Boost.
The weekend also sore some great results from Abi having come 2nd in her first 120km** she has worked hard all season and her horse Da ja Vu EPH is proving to be a special part of her team. It was also pretty special for me to see Jorja win the 120km on her EPH bred mare Twilght Kahlua she looked Amazing all day. And of course it was pretty awesome to see Robbie win the junior 160km and gain his first buckle.
Behind any success though comes down to the team around you and non of it would be possible without you all so special thank you to Sarah, Robbie, Emma,Kate, Sophie, Lexi, Abi and of course Jane your help and support this season has been incredible.
And lastly a special thank you to Jorja because without your help and support non of the success with Tigress would have been possible you have pushed me to succeed when I was unsure it was possible and I Love and Appreciate everything you do for me and I can't wait to see what the rest of the season will bring.
