Boys Training takes place on Mondays, Wednesday, Friday from 5-7 with Coach Aengus Cunningham. Girls and Adult training will be up and running in the New Year, 2023. Please feel free to get in touch with us to play.

St. Coman's Handball Club's Cash for Clobber Collection is running throughout June!

We are collecting unwanted clothing, shoes, bags, bed linen, towels, curtains, hats, belts and scarves. Every donation helps raise valuable funds for our club.

๐Ÿ“ Simply leave your bags under the stairs in the small alley at St. Coman's Handball Club.

๐Ÿ”‘ If you don't have access to the alley, the club will be open for drop-offs:

Boys U14 60x30 All Ireland Final

Best of luck to the two lads, Josh Clarke & Patrick Farrell tomorrow in the All Ireland Final.

A big day for both as they take on Cork lads (Conall Oโ€™Connor & Daniel Quinn) tomorrow morning in their own back yard down in Cullen, Cork @ 11am.

Gowan lads, we are all rooting for you! ๐Ÿ€

Patrick Farrell & Josh Clarke have qualified for the 2026 60x30 Boys U14 Doubles Final!!

Patrick & Josh did fantastic to keep the cool and come back from behind to defeat Tyler Kavanagh & George Foley of Wexford in an epic AI semi final this morning in St.Comans.

Game one was a ding d**g affair where both teams were settling into the match. Wexford showed their strength to push on and close out the game 15-12.

Game two the Rossies showed they were not going to lie down easily, and from some excellent serving raced into a 7-0 lead. They maintained this throughout and despite constant Wexford pressure they closed out game two to force a tie breaker - 15-13.

Game three started tight and cagey, before Roscommon took a commanding lead 13-6. Wexford kept fighting and tested the nerves of the Roscommon youngsters (and the Roscommon crowd) before Josh and Patrick flew over the line to book their place in the All Ireland Final 15-12 to a huge roar from the Roscommon support. ๐Ÿ‘

WELL DONE LADS!
They face Cork opposition in the All Ireland Final next weekend, venue & time to be confirmed. Watch this space

Commiserations to our U14 duo of Aine Hanley & Michael Walsh who lost their respective All Ireland Semi finals this weekend.

Girls U14 All Ireland Semi Final (Sat, 23rd May)
Aine Hanley lost to Bethany Dunbar of Wexford in her U14 All Ireland Semi Final.

Boys U14 All Ireland Semi Final (Sun, 24th May)
Michael Walsh lost out to very strong opposition in Kilkennys Ollie Morrisey today in St.Comans.

Congratulations to both of you for getting this far and hopefully this experience inspires you to keep going and get back to this stage again ๐Ÿ‘

Some fantastic results today in the juvenile Connacht 60x30 championship finals held in Fenagh, Leitrim, where 4 St.Comans juveniles have been crowned Connacht Champions.

๐Ÿ†Boys U13 Singles
Callum Keane had a fantastic win in the Boys U13 competition, defeating William Cahill (Mayo) 15-12,15-6 before overcoming another Mayo opponent, Aaron Surdival winning out 15-13 15-4 in the final. ๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿ†Boys U14 Singles
Michael Walsh put in a dominant performance today to win his U14 Connacht singles final v Ferdia Mac Eoin. Another generation of the Walsh family doing the business for St.Comans & Roscommon handball ๐Ÿ‘

๐Ÿ†Boys U14 Doubles
Patrick Farrell & Josh Clarke have completed the clean sweep of Boys U14 doubles titles, defeating Sligo opposition 15-4,15-0 to add to the 40x20 doubles title they captured earlier in the year. ๐Ÿ‘

Well done to all & coach Aengus.
The U14 grade progresses through to the All Ireland series so best of luck the the three lads over the coming weeks.
