I forgot to mention the excellent job Boyle Gaa. Club done on hosting the Garda cup Final yesterday, as always you completely surpassed yourselves, thank you.

The Garda cup Final was held in Boyle yesterday in the sweltering heat, tough conditions for playing to say the least, Boyle V Western Gaels with Boyle coming out on top, it was an excellent display of football all round, the final score was 3-10 to 1-13.
Well done to both teams.
We would like to thank, firstly the Kelly family for making the presentation, Tanya Duffy and Deidre Coleman from Boyle Garda division for organising the trophies and medals and helping out on the day, Declan Woods for refereeing the Game, Seamus Regan and Stephen Carty for doing the line, the McCartin and Woods families for umpiring the game, and finally to Shane Devaney Chairperson of the Northern board for making the presentation also.

The Beirne shield final was played this evening in Tulsk, a super evening for it Elphin Ballinameen were the winners St.Michaels St.Ronans were their opponents, this was an U13 competition and was very entertaining, with some excellent football being displayed.
Well done to the winners Elphin Ballinameen and commiserations to St.Michaels St.Ronans
4-10 to 2.09
Thanks to Jimmy Donoghue for refereeing the Game, and thanks also to Tulsk Gaa for having the place looking brilliant and providing refreshments, and finally a most sincere thanks to Pauric and Tina Beirne, parents of the late Shane Beirne to whom the competition is played in his honour, for presenting the trophies and for their kind words.

Well done to the Shannon Gaels U13 squad who won the Keenan cup final in Boyle this evening, Boyle were their opponents, extremely hard luck to them, it was a most entertaining game, played in great spirit, the final result was 3.10 to 2.07.
Thanks to Larry Tiernan for doing an excellent job refereeing the Game, A huge thanks to The Keenan family for all their help this evening and for presenting the trophies, thanks to Shane Devaney for officiating the presentation, and finally to Boyle Gaa for the fantastic job they do in taking care of the running of the final every year, nothing spared.
