🎯 What a day of darts 🎯
📍What a fantastic day we had on Saturday as we held our U18's competition with an incredibly talented 23 players taking to the oche to battle it out for the title and lift the trophy 🏆.
📍Five group's went head to head to make it to the last 16. The knockout stages produced some fantastic and very tight games with matches going right down to the wire.
📍Our quarter finalists, Ryan, Simon, Dean, Senan, Daniel, Keelan, Eoin and Paul all showed great skill and determination as they battled for a place in the semi finals.
📍After some tough and hard fought games Simon, Dean, Daniel and Paul earned their places in the semi's.
📍In the Final Simon and Daniel went to battle, both determined to claim victory. It was however Daniel who showed quality and class producing an exquisite 152 checkout to seal victory and lift the trophy. Hard luck to Simon who fought hard and congratulations to Daniel, what a way to round off a great day in the academy.
📍 A huge thank you to all our 23 player's who took part. The standard of darts on display throughout the day was brilliant and to say the least enjoyably impressive. It was fantastic to see so how much our players are progressing. Their competitiveness and sportsmanship are both a credit to themselves and their parent's.
📍Thank you to all the helpers and our wonderful committee for organising another brilliant competition and for all the hard work behind the scenes that make days like these possible.
