Naas TKD The Naas Taekwon-Do School offers Martial Arts Classes We offer both traditional and sport Taekwon-Do classes to children and Adults.

The Master Doyle Taekwon-Do Schools have classes in Tallaght (Old Bawn), Kildare (Maynooth & Naas) and Carlow. Our Schools have produced World, European & National Champions and our students have won medals representing Ireland both home and abroad. We have special classes for younger children that give them an introduction to the Martial Arts in a fun way. We offer special rates for families wish

ing to join together. All our Instructors are Garda vetted, qualified and recognised by the Irish Martial Arts Council. The Schools Senior Instructor is 8th Dan Master Stephen Doyle who has worked as Irish National Coach for over 15 years and is a former European Gold medallist. This is the belt my Instructor Mr Michael Nevin put around my waist 35 years ago. I wore it proudly for 22 years while competing for Ireland, being corrected by General Choi and through countless classes, seminars and gradings. Finally in 2013 I was made get a new belt when I was promoted to Master and it was a bittersweet moment to take it off for the last time 🥋

Happy Taekwon-Do Naming Day! 1955 signaled the beginning of Taekwon‑Do as a formally recognized martial art in Korea.
On the 11th of April, 1955, the Board decided on the name of Taekwon‑Do which had been submitted by Gen. Choi Hong Hi.
