Result from this afternoonβs Round 4 Championship match against a strong Milltown side.
We will play Multyfarnham in our final group game with the date and venue to be confirmed.

In wet and overcast conditions, Castledaly faced Milltown in Round 4 Intermediate Championship clash on Sunday at Castletown Geoghegan.
Castledaly bravely battled and there was only a single point to seperate the two sides in the contest with Castledaly narrowest margin lead at half-time.
Castledaly got off the mark with a fine goal from Shaun Kerrigan. Lorcan Dolan and Shane Fitzpatrick were involved in the lead up with Fitzpatrick providing a fine pass for Kerrigan to finish. In the fifth minute, Castledaly stretched their lead with a free scored by Justin Coughlan off his left.
Milltown responded and Castledaly battled to defend . Almost 15 minutes before Cathal Dolan provided his team's follow up with a fine score following good work from Justin Coughlan.
From the 24th minute,
Castledaly finished the second half stronger despite being down a man on black card and produced the final two scores of the half from Damien Stone and another fine Cathal Dolan score in injury time. At half-time, Castledaly led 1-4 to 0-6.
Upon the resumption, Milltown were fastest out of the traps and took the lead and looked determined to close the game out.
Castledaly were battling bravely and Paul Costello snapped up a neat point following a couple of unsuccessful attacks.
Castledaly were on defence again until the 44th minute, when they were awarded a free out with Milltown going a man down following a second yellow. Despite this Milltown held the upper hand until Adam Turley responded for Castledaly with a neat score, following good work from Fitzpatrick and Aaron Sheerin. This turned out to be the final score for the Castledaly men and Milltown won through to final whistle.
In a final minute scramble in the Castledaly goalmouth in a game of few physical mis-steps, referee red carded both a Castledaly and Milltown player after a collision involving Castledaly goalkeeper Eanna Duffy.
