A fantastic night was held in The Village Barn Tyrellspass last night when Westmeath LGFA celebrated and acknowledged the hard work and dedication of some of its Volunteers. There were winners in 4 categories as well as the Sheila Lyster Hall of Fame Award.
Thanks to Paula Finan secretary of Westmeath LGFA for organising this wonderful event as well as providing MC on the night, to the Westmeath Executive, to the Village Barn Tyrellspass for hosting the event, to the Lyster Family, to the local media and to all the clubs and volunteers who made the first Westmeath Volunteer Awards a great success. Congratulations to all our nominees and winners.

Well done to everyone involved in the organising of it, it's bound to be great night. best of luck to all the nominees tonight especially our two representatives from Caulry and huge thanks to everyone that helps out in Caulry, without you we wouldn't be able to field teams at every age group.
