**Important Notice - Start Time Change**

Hi all

Following the conformation yesterday evening of the All-Ireland Quarter Final Fixture between Offaly and Cork for Sunday 21st June. It has been decided, after consultation with the relevant stakeholders and in order for our race to run smoothly, to bring the start time of the race forward by 1 hour to 9.00am.

This decision has been taken in the best interests of all our participants and volunteers. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Moylagh JFK 50-mile Challenge

As many of you know, I do not run every step. I use a run/walk strategy, which allows me to keep moving forward hour after hour.

What this challenge reminds me every year is that success is rarely about speed. It is about consistency.

The same applies to health, fitness, recovery, confidence, and life itself.

Most people think they need to make huge changes to transform their lives. In reality, lasting change often comes from taking one small step, then another, and another.

That is exactly the philosophy behind my Somatix classes.
No pressure. No racing. No competition.

Just gentle, purposeful movement that helps people move better, feel steadier, build confidence, and keep moving forward.

Whether your goal is to complete a 50-mile challenge or simply feel stronger getting up from a chair, every journey starts with one step.

Keep going.

Croagh Patrick: A Climb of Courage, Community, and Remembrance

Some of our members completed the Croagh Patrick Challenge yesterday
And it was a real privilege to climb alongside Corinne O’Meara and her family and friends, who did so in memory of her late husband, Thomas β€œTossie” O’Meara, and in support of DΓ³chas.

It was an amazing achievement for everyone involved β€” a day filled with effort, courage, and a powerful sense of togetherness. The support on the mountain was unbelievable, and it reminded us of what a community can do when people come together for something that truly matters.

Well done to everyone who took part. You should be very proud.
