Garryowen Rugby Club Garryowen Football Club was founded in Limerick in 1884, and takes its name from the Garryowen area of Limerick.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Brendan Jordan.

Brendan was a valued member of the Garryowen family, having played for the club before later giving back as an underage coach when his son Conor began his rugby journey.

On behalf of everyone at Garryowen FC, we extend our deepest sympathies to Brendan’s wife Maura, his son Conor, and to all of his family and friends at this difficult time.

Brendan will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
