Observations Deadline: Monday, 17 November 2025 at 5:30 pm
YOU can now send observations or objections to An Coimisiún Pleanála (the national planning authority). This follows Indaver’s latest submission of “Additional Information” on 29 August 2025.
💻 How to make your submission (takes about 10 minutes):
1️⃣ Go online at 👉 https://online.pleanala.ie/en-ie/sid/observation
2️⃣ Choose Case Ref: ABP-318802-24
3️⃣ Upload your written observation and pay the €50 fee (unless you already made a submission to the 2016 application — then it’s free)
📬 You can also post or deliver your observation to:
The Secretary, An Coimisiún Pleanála, 64 Marlborough Street, Dublin 1, D01 V902
Include your name, address, the case reference, and your reasons for objecting.
📝 What to say:
Your objection should be based on planning concerns, such as:
• Public health and air quality
• Traffic and safety in Cork Harbour
• Impact on climate goals and renewable energy policy
• Visual and environmental damage to Cork Harbour
• Alternative and safer waste options
💶 Fee: €50 for new submissions (by card online or enclosed with posted submission).
📢 Why this matters:
This is a critical stage — after years of heroic local opposition, Indaver has reactivated its incinerator plan. Every single valid objection strengthens the case for protecting Cork Harbour’s health, heritage, and future.
🗣️ Let’s stand together once again — Carrigaline, Crosshaven, Ringaskiddy, Cobh, and all of Cork Harbour — and make sure our voices are heard before 17 November.
