Chin ups are the end goal for a lot of people in the gym and also one of the tougher exercises to complete.
Overtime we have constructed this pathway that will have you reaching your chin up goals!

Start with the basics and progress up ⬆️

- Dead hangs
- Active hangs
- High holds
- Slow reps
- Chin ups ✨✨

ORKA Turns 2 🎉

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us for our birthday BBQ on Saturday. The day was filled with good food, good vibes, and even better people.

As a small business, hosting events like this can feel like a leap of faith—we never know who’ll turn up. But the community we’ve built over the past two years showed up in force, and seeing both familiar and returning faces reminded us exactly why we started ORKA.

From the bottom of our hearts—thank you for making this journey worthwhile.

Happy Birthday to us! We do love to celebrate a birthday… and we have turned 2 as of today! It’s been an unbelievably enjoyable time building the membership, with new faces coming and old faces staying in!

We as a team are truly thankful to everyone who has come to support our gym community and to participate in adding the flare of personality to every session, everyday, and every week!!

We are having a celebratory gathering on the 27th of this month (September 👀) at 16:00 in the gym. We invite all current members, previous members, family, and friends to say hi, have a bit of a chat and craic!!

A little bit late, but we at Orka, staff and community would like extend a big welcome to the two new coaches, Holly and Nicky!!
These two have both made a big impact in the gym over their first months.
Holly and Nicky have a sterling background in Sports Science and Strength and Conditioning, which perfectly suits the environment and community we are trying to create in our gym!
Don’t be afraid to ask Nicky (aka Nigel as per Scott) about anything rugby 🏉 or Holly anything soccer ⚽️

We are immensely proud of Joe and what he has achieved, exceeding his charitable goal of €3000. We have also been delighted to have helped Joe get him where he needed to be to get up there!!
If you happen to see Joe in the gym when he returns to us, give him a big pat on the back 🧡
