I went to get sub90, we got sub90 🩵
Ekk! Race debrief!
I’ve done ALOT of races, but when I say I was actually terrified to race this one, I meant it. To a point I was chatting the ears off of Coach Kieren - HYROX & Running Coach & .g.x about how I was feeling about the sleds (and can confirm the sled push proved my point lol) a humbling experience. But we’ll work on it for the next PRO race in London!
I’ve entered the 26/27 season as a completely different person than I was in the 25/26 season and that’s down to VANESSA | ONLINE PERFORMANCE COACH | ATHLETE her coaching has made me feel stronger both mentally and physically & just overall happier, she’s showing me that I can actually do it, if I just put the work in! Over the summer I did my first proper off season blocks, improved on my weaknesses, corrected my form for stations and did a PRO race. Funnily enough, this race ends up being just 5mins slower than my last open race, kinda crazy that. This season for me is a new chapter of my Hyrox journey and I’m so ready to keep putting in the work over the next few months to contine to step it up a notch! We’ve got so much yet to come! ⚡️
Shoutout to Run North West & PUMA UK for kitting me out for this race and giving me the opportunity to run it!
Chris Upton for the best finish photo as always 🫶
Sunday: we race again open solo, with a hopeful time in mind!
