As we all acclimatise to Phase 2 – We have created some tips around the new way of working and shopping based on experiences in this new transition.

These top tips cover a common sense approach to eating well, exercising, interactions and wellbeing.

1️⃣ Expand your horizons or limits now that the 20km rule has taken effect (get out in the great outdoors for some vitamin D (weather depending) and now we can begin to socialise further increasing human interactions.

2️⃣ Walk or cycle to necessary journeys if possible in rural and urban areas

3️⃣ Keep in mind the limited facilities they are now that some business are still closed (keep an open mind).

4️⃣ Adaption to the new way of life (Shopping, Socialising, Working)

5️⃣ Think of all of this as a fresh start as we integrate back into normal life (reconsidering our eating habit, continue exercising, spending time with your family)

We are all in this lockdown together, and at Evolve Fitness we are aware of the challenges these limitations bring. By having a plan in place it helps you achieve the correct mind set it takes to getting through this crisis effectively.

We have some tips that may benefit you along the way ⤵️⤵️⤵️

1️⃣ Reduce the duration of your workouts ➡️ Workout more frequently to ensure activity is a part of your every day regime 📅

2️⃣ Don’t neglect cardio ➡️ Staying fit and enhancing your pulmonary reserve (the amount of air your lungs can breathe at limited capacity under stress)🤸‍♀️

3️⃣Don’t overdo it ➡️ Exercise is great but too much of a good thing can be its own stressor which can leave you fatigued and unmotivated. Consider the concept of a ‘work-in’ over a workout, choosing workouts that draw energy and vitality into the body 😴

4️⃣ Get creative ➡️ Even without professional fitness equipment, you still have plenty of items that you could use for resistance training at home. E.g a packed suitcase, a chair or some bottles of water. Just take your reps up to make lower resistance count.🏋️‍♀️

5️⃣ Beat Inactivity ➡️ Remember to keep your general level of activity up to maintain your mobility and overall health, Activity should always supplement your more outcome orientated workouts like circuits and resistance training 😅
