Dear Members,

We have been asked to share the following information on behalf of Bandon Community First Responders (CFR).

*Who are Bandon Community First Responders?*

Bandon CFR is a voluntary group of trained responders who provide vital assistance in medical emergencies within the local community. All responders are trained in Basic Life Support and the use of defibrillators. They operate under the guidance of the National Ambulance Service (NAS) and are dispatched exclusively by NAS Control.

*What types of calls do they attend?*

● Cardiac Arrest
● Respiratory Arrest
● Chest Pain
● Stroke (CVA)
● Choking Incidents

Bandon CFR plays a crucial role in supporting the emergency services and helping to save lives in our community.

We would encourage all members to support this valuable local service by following their Facebook and Instagram pages and helping to spread awareness of the work they do.

Former Bandon AFC player Joe Lawlor home from Sydney Australia for a short a holiday with his family. Joe played from 1980 - 89 and was a very handy full back indeed. Joe was delighted to see a few club games while home, and was very impressed with the progress the club has made in recent years. Great to see ya Joe 😊

Another season completed with Basc Club. The rain didn't stop us Saturday morning from having plenty fun.

Below, Aine O'Donovan presented the BASC club with their trophies after completing a 6 week programme with Aine O'Donovan Jack O'Donoghue & Eddie Andpu

A massive thanks our coaches. Ye are a credit to the club and BASC really appreciate you giving your time to the group year on year.

This is the 13th year the club has ran a programme for BASC.

Well done to all involved. We look forward to working with BASC club each year as they have become a major part of our club.
