We love this photo! It shows the excitement of getting their medals from just one of the 61 national school crews at The Southern Star South West Coast Yawl Rowing Schools Regatta that took place in Rosscarbery last Friday evening!

200 children too part, many of whom were experiencing their 1st taste of rowing.

Photos of all school crews that participated (including the very competitive 'Teacher's Race...) will be inside this Thursday's edition of the Southern Star.

Well done to all our primary schools crews, teachers & SNA crew who all did fantastic yesterday evening in the The Southern Star & South West Rowing Primary schools regatta held in the Lagoon Rosscarbery. Thank you to Rosscarbery Rowing Club for hosting us.
Thank you to JJ for coxing and Keith, John & Laura for getting our getting our crew in and out of the boat safely.

Huge support for the launch of the 2026 All Ireland Coastal Rowung Championships in Bantry.

Our coastal rowing season has started and all ready we are looking forward to the end of season as the All-Ireland Coastal Rowing Championships will be taking place in Co Cork for the first time in 14 years.
It will be held in Bantry 14th, 15th & 16th of August 2026. The All Ireland Coastal Rowing Championships launch night will be held in the Marino Church, Bantry Fri 24th April at 8pm. All welcome.
