Sincere apologies for the delay in reporting, here is a catch on our season so far.
Nostalgia Nationals
Event no 1 of our 2026 season saw 5 teams attending.
Testing on Friday, qualifying runs on Saturday afternoon and points runs on Sunday.
After Saturdays qualifying runs the order was:

Sadly, Sharon and Jezabel were unable to run on Sunday, which left 4 teams running for points.

Paul’s car, failed to start letting Steve through round 1 on a bye.
Phoebe took the R1 win from Tim, and also the round best reaction bonus.
Round 2 saw the previous round winners Phoebe and Steve paired against each other. It was a great run with both close to their numbers, but Phoebe took the win and the round best reaction bonus.
Paul was back for round 2 after tracing the problem, this time running against Tim. Paul had a big breakout, handing the R2 win to Tim.
In round 3 Paul lined up to race Steve after missing this match in the first round. Paul went red, while Steve kept his cool to take another win from Paul.
Phoebe and Tim in R3, Phoebe was closer to dial in to take the win and the round best reaction bonus.
The last round of the day saw both Steve and Tim withdraw from running leaving both Phoebe and Paul on bye runs.

Sportsman Nationals.
We 6 teams entered for this event.
Unfortunately it saw more breakages in the pits than we would have liked, but that’s racing as they say!
Fridays testing saw new member Colin out for the weekend. Saturday during qualifying Tim had transmission issues and Sharon discovered a fault that couldn’t be rectified at the track.
After Saturdays runs the qualifying order was:
1. Paul Lorne
2. Steve Watson
3. Phoebe Davison
4. Tim Bull
With Tim out for Sunday this left 3 teams competing for points.
