After a bit of a stressful few days, we’re really pleased to share some positive news with our Guard-Up family! ❤️🥊

🏠 SATURDAY SESSIONS HAVE FOUND A NEW HOME!

Starting THIS SATURDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER, our Saturday sessions will be running from:

📍 Torpoint Scout Hall
19 Wellington Street
Torpoint
PL11 2DF

Our Saturday timetable remains:

🔥 9:00am – 12 Rounds Circuits
🥊 10:00am – Mini Champs
💪 11:00am – Advanced
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 12:00pm – Family Session

So Saturday crew — WE’RE BACK! 🙌🥊

What about Tuesdays & Fridays?

We’re working hard behind the scenes to get the rest of our sessions back up and running too.

We have a meeting with a potential new venue Wednesday evening to discuss the possibility of running our Tuesday and Friday sessions from there.

Nothing is confirmed just yet, but as soon as we know more, you’ll know more! 🤞

We just want to say a massive THANK YOU.

The understanding, supportive messages and lovely comments we’ve received over the last few days have genuinely meant a lot to us.

Guard-Up has always been about much more than boxing. We’ve built an amazing little community — our second family — and situations like this really remind us just how special that is.

We appreciate every single one of you. ❤️

⚠️🥊 IMPORTANT GUARD-UP BOXING UPDATE 🥊⚠️

We’re really sorry to announce that, with immediate effect, we will no longer be running our Guard-Up Boxing sessions from St James Church in Torpoint.

Unfortunately, the hire fees for the venue have increased significantly to a level that, as a not-for-profit Community Interest Company, we simply cannot afford while keeping our sessions accessible and affordable for our members.

This isn't a decision we wanted to make, and we know St James has become a familiar home for Guard-Up and many of you over the years. 💙🥊

So what happens now?

🔎 We are actively searching for a new, affordable venue in the Torpoint area so that we can get our sessions back up and running as soon as possible.

As soon as we have something secured and confirmed, you will all be the first to know!

In the meantime, you can still get your boxing fix! 👊

🥊 MILLBROOK SESSIONS ARE STILL RUNNING
Our Wednesday session in Millbrook at 6pm is completely unaffected and remains available for anyone who would like to attend.

🥊 1-2-1 AVAILABILITY THIS WEEK
As we won't be running our usual Torpoint sessions this week, we have some additional 1-2-1 availability at our home gym on Tuesday and Friday evening. If you've ever fancied giving a private session a go, drop us a message and we can give you some more information.

We are genuinely sorry for any inconvenience or disruption this causes our members and families. Please rest assured that we are already working hard behind the scenes to resolve the situation and find Guard-Up a new home. 💙
