We at tisbury swimming pool would like to apologise for the delayed opening of our beloved pool.
Difficult situations arose that were beyond our control and out of our hands. We have been trying to resolve such issues in order to get pool open for public. We have had to prioritise school swims lessons atm, as these are very important not only to the schools curriculum but to the children too. We understand your frustration that during all this glorious weather we haven't been open, but like we said these issues were beyond our control. The volunteer committee has been working over time to ensure we open for you our most splendid public. Your best interests are the most important to us. Please do not believe the rumors or false news about why we haven't opened and most definitely do not believe the rumors that we will not be open at all this season. We have not released any reasons to why we haven't opened, so what your hear on the grapevine hasn't come from us. All will be explained soon enough. But please continue to be patient with the pool and know that we are working hard to make sure all is good.

Tisbury swimming pool team is very sad to hear of the passing of one of our long standing volunteers Liz Lofthouse. Years of dedication to the pool along side her partner in crime Marion Blower. We will miss you, but we also thank you for everything you did. 💜💚🩵💙
We will certainly miss the pickles you used to get into with the tills 🙂🙂
The dedication from our volunteer team has always been phenomenal and you were one of them for so many years. Not only the pool, but you were a big part of the Tisbury ladies who have always been there with cakes and cups of tea at various events 😉 😋 💜💚🩵💙💛❤️

The Swimming Pool Committee would like to thank the amazing ladies from our community who have organised coffee morning at the Hinton Hall on 2nd December. They have raised an amazing £238 for our lovely pool 😍
THANK YOU SO MUCH! Without people like you the pool wouldn't be able to operate 🫶
