Come and join us for Dodgeball tonight, 7pm at John of Gaunt School. We have clubs available for junior players (ages 10-14) and adult members (ages 15+), and sessions are just £4 pay as you go (first session free!) 🐯

📣 LEAGUE DAY

It's round three of the British Dodgeball South West Regional League, and 7 Spartans are heading down to Tisbury to take part. Special shout out goes to Dan for his competitive debut for Spartans ⚔

Today we've got a Royal Rumble, facing Berkshire Royals and Berkshire Royals 2. Let's go Spartans! ⚔⚔

Due to low attendance numbers we have made the decision to cancel tonight's Dodgeball session. We will be back to training as normal next week!

On Sunday, seven Spartans and one coach travelled down to Tisbury to take part in the second round of the British Dodgeball South West Regional League 🤾

The Spartans faced Chippenham Chargers and Berkshire Royals second team, leaving with one loss and one win, a fantastic result for this new team!

First up, the squad faced Chippenham Chargers, a medal favourite team. The well-drilled Chippenham side kept our Spartans at bay; despite this, the Spartans left with a respectable score of 11-17, a 3 set difference, and overall fantastic result.

Next up we faced the Berkshire Royals second team. Learning from their previous bout against Chippenham, the Spartans played with excellent control (well done left wing caller Matt!), storming ahead to a decisive victory of 20:02. The score line doesn't reflect how close some of these sets were, Royals 2 certainly didn't make it easy for us!

Special shout out goes out to Joe Saunders, for his debut in a Spartans shirt. Joe was an asset to the team, even winning us a critical set before half time in the game against Berkshire. Well done Joe! ⚔️⚔️

Today we face down Chippenham Chargers and Berkshire Royals second team, and it's debut day for Spartan Joe Saunders.

What a weekend! ⚔️⚔️

Sunday saw Bath Spartans return to the British Dodgeball scene by taking part in the South West Regional League, and we faced Rhondda Dragons and Berkshire Royals

Although we left with two losses, we can’t fault the way we played. Setting foot on the court for the first time as a full squad, we needed a few sets to gel and understand each others play styles, but we got into a rhythm and left with a respectable score against Rhondda Dragons. Next up we played Berkshire Royals first team, a very well drilled side, and despite our best efforts, we just couldn’t get through their defences to get a point on the board, despite some very close sets.

Two very enjoyable games, and we can’t wait to face them again in future meets 🤾🏽‍♂️

📣 REGIONAL SQUAD ANNOUNCEMENT

We're very excited to be taking part in the British Dodgeball South West Regional League, and have our first squad announcement ready! ⚔⚔

Today 8 Spartans will head down to Tisbury to take on Berkshire Royals 1st Team and the Rhondda Dragons Regional Team in the first round of the league. We're looking forward to seeing how our Spartans will perform! Keep an eye on our social media for live score updates 👀

📣 RETURN TO TRAINING UPDATES

We're returning to training this coming Tuesday (10th January), and we'll be looking for new members to join us this New Year.
