If any of these upset you, there’s a fair chance you needed to hear them 👀

The good news?

Most of these aren’t character flaws.

They’re knowledge problems.

Nobody is born knowing how to lose fat.

Nobody magically understands calories, training intensity, recovery, or how to build muscle.

Most people are just doing what they’ve been told by:
• TikTok
• Dave from the office
• Or that one mate who’s been “starting a cut next Monday” since 2021 😅

The problem isn’t a lack of effort.

Most people are trying.

The problem is putting loads of effort into the wrong things.

That’s where coaching comes in.

I don’t just give you a plan and tell you to crack on.

I show you:
✅ What actually matters
✅ What doesn’t matter
✅ Why you’re doing what you’re doing
✅ How to make progress long term

Because the goal isn’t just getting you results.

It’s giving you the knowledge to keep them

Anyone can follow a plan.

Understanding why it works?

Look,
My arms (and probably yours) aren’t big enough to be worrying about specific heads of each muscle.

Working things in the stretch or the shortened range etc…

It’s just not worthwhile.

All you’re doing is adding a distraction that takes away from the main factor causing growth…

INTENSITY!

I used to worry about the specific details, just because I watched HUGE bodybuilders talking about it on YouTube.

Trust me when I say,
I’ve made WAY more progress by simply choosing the exercises that I love and getting as strong as I can!

My arms specifically have become a pretty stand out part of my physique (which is a dream come true 😅)

And that’s exactly what this arm day contains.

The exercises I really enjoy, and have been doing for the last few months.

Despite my own advice, I don’t even log this session.
Just get in and train.

What’s your excuse?… 👇

This is my client Steve.

And whilst transforming his physique over the last couple of years…

He’s also been battling cancer.

Including multiple rounds of radiotherapy.

Yet despite all of that…

He still showed up.

Still trained.
Still tracked his food.
Still pushed himself to improve.

Honestly… one of the strongest people I know 🤝

When Steve first came to me, he was already very active.

But like a lot of people,

He was putting loads of effort in without much direction.

Loads of cardio.
Very little weight training.
No real understanding of nutrition.

Which meant despite all that effort…

His physique wasn’t really changing.

Fast forward to now:

He loves weight training,
has built a proper routine,
and his strength has gone through the roof.

He tracks his food consistently,
hits his protein target daily,
and has just completed a photoshoot…

All in his 60s 😅

Just goes to show,

It’s never too late to improve yourself.

And you do NOT need perfect circumstances to start.
