We don’t often do member progress posts.

Not because progress isn’t happening, because it absolutely is.

But this one deserved a moment.

Mikey first joined us last year with Jess, then life got busy and training took a back seat. No drama. It happens.

They came back after Christmas, and they’ve both properly got stuck in.

Jess has just picked up our Coaches’ Choice award, and Mikey has the photos to show just how much progress can happen when you keep showing up.

Consistent training.
Hard work.
No all-or-nothing.

And the difference speaks for itself.

Fair play, Mikey. Unreal progress 👏

And thank you for trusting us with these photos too. Sharing progress pictures takes a lot of guts, and we don’t take that lightly.

COACHES CORNER 🎥

This week Coach Chewie is talking Olympic lifting 👀

One simple thing that can make a BIG difference in both the sn**ch and clean: keeping the knuckles pointing down towards the floor for longer during the pull.

It helps keep the bar close, keeps you in a stronger position, and stops those early arm bends we all pretend we definitely don’t do 😅

You’ll also notice Chewie’s got a solid hook grip throughout too 👌
Not always the most comfortable thing to learn at first… but definitely one of those habits worth nailing early if you want stronger, more consistent lifts.

One of those small cues that suddenly makes everything feel smoother once it clicks 💡

12 MONTH STREAK CLUB 💥

One year ago we launched Committed Club.

This month, 20 members completed a full 12-month streak.
Every single month since launch.

No missed months.
No resets.
Just consistency.

While the club has grown to 97 committed members, these 20 have quietly helped set the standard from day one.

And honestly, seeing people stay consistent month after month means a lot to us… because none of it has ever been forced.

We’ve never used minimum term contracts.
People stay because they genuinely want to be here.

In fact, people have been with us for an average of over 30 months (that average includes the newer members too)… and for the statos amongst us 😅, 90 of our members have been here for more than 3 years.

That says more than any sales pitch ever could 🧡💜

To our Streak Club… thank you.

MAY COMMITTED CLUB 💥

We’ve done it again… and honestly, this is getting ridiculous now 🎉

97 PEOPLE hit 14+ sessions in May.
NINETY. SEVEN.

So many, in fact, we needed two graphics this month 😅

Not just a handful of regulars anymore.
This is an army of committed warriors showing up week after week, putting the work in, backing themselves and each other.

That’s not motivation.
That’s culture.

And what’s even crazier?
Less than a year ago these numbers were HALF this size.
Now look at this place 👀

And speaking of anniversaries…
20 people have now completed a full 12-month Committed Club streak.
An entire year of consistency. Month after month. No resets. No shortcuts. Just showing up.

May’s Coaches’ Choice goes to Jess B 🏆

Jess first joined us last year, but after a couple of months the challenge of balancing everything meant the timing just wasn’t quite right.

After Christmas though, Jess made the decision that now was her time and properly committed to making space for herself again. Since then, the progress she’s made has been incredible.

Over the last few months she has come on in leaps and bounds. She’s been consistent, coachable, and fully bought into the process. She’s kept herself accountable with regular body scans, which was actually a huge mental hurdle for her at first, and that hard work is now paying off. She’s losing body fat, gaining muscle, getting fitter, stronger, and more confident every week.

And yes… she even takes her jumper off to workout now 😉 Which honestly says more than people probably realise.

Outside of the physical progress, Jess has really come out of her shell personally too. When she first joined she was incredibly quiet, whereas now she’s fully part of the community, joining us on socials and chatting away with everyone. In fact, even getting a staged pre-WOD photo at the back of the gym became difficult because she was too busy chatting 😝

She’s been smashing workouts, showing up consistently, and has now built herself a five month streak in the Committed Club too.

Massively deserved. Well done Jess 🧡

Strong together. Always.

COACHES CORNER 🎥

Well… this week it was my turn 😅

Usually I’m the one behind the camera rather than in front of it, so this was definitely outside my comfort zone 🫣

Most of you probably know me more from emails, messages, social media, spreadsheets or seeing me trying to survive the 9:30 class 🤣

But after Coach Chewie accidentally deleted his video… here we are 🤦‍♀️😅

I wanted to share something I’ve noticed over the years being part of Hexis.

As coaches, we honestly care far more that people show up than what score they get.

We notice the effort.
The consistency.
The people supporting others.
The members building confidence.
The ones who come in even when they nearly talked themselves out of it.

That stuff matters WAY more than perfect scores or PBs.

And honestly, when we pick things like Coaches Choice each month, it’s rarely about who lifted the heaviest or finished first.

It’s usually the people bringing good energy, working hard consistently and helping make Hexis what it is 💜🧡

Fitness isn’t built from one perfect workout.

It’s built from showing up over and over again… even when things feel uncomfortable.

A bit like recording your first Coaches Corner video 😅
