Strabane Rugby Club Senior training is Tuesday and Thursday nights at 8pm in Melvin Sports Arena. All new players welcome. Just turn up and get involved!

Youth Rugby is Wednesday night 6pm-7pm and Minis are Saturday mornings at 10am-11pm, all at Melvin Sports Arena. Senior training is Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8pm at Melvin

A fantastic turnout last night as players dusted off the boots and got back out on the pitch. There was plenty of skill, enthusiasm and competitiveness on display, with a great mix of senior players, U21s and youth players all getting involved.

The numbers tonight show the strength and depth building throughout the club, and itโ€™s exciting to see so many players committed to improving and preparing for the season ahead.

This is only the beginning. Letโ€™s keep building over the next few weeks, sharpen our skills, improve our fitness and continue creating the culture that has driven so much success across the club.

The Annual General Meeting of Strabane Rugby Football Club will take place this Thursday evening at 8:30pm.

Strabane Rugby Club is delighted to announce that Jack Hannan and Max Mitchell have been selected for the Ulster Rugby Club Development Pathway this summer.

Their selection is a fantastic reward for the dedication, hard work and resilience both players have shown over the past number of seasons. Having suffered setbacks through injury and missing out on earlier opportunities, both lads continued to work hard, stay committed and never lose belief in their ability. Their perseverance has now been rewarded with the opportunity to further develop their skills and showcase their talent within the Ulster pathway programme.

This achievement is not only a credit to Jack and Max, but also to the many coaches, teachers, teammates and supporters who have played a part in their rugby journey.

We are incredibly proud that Strabane RFC will have seven players involved in Ulster Rugby pathway programmes this year, highlighting the strength of the player development environment being built within the club. The depth of talent coming through the club is incredibly exciting, with a number of our talented 2012-born players already pushing hard and aiming to follow in the footsteps of those currently involved in the pathway system.

These selections are another sign of the progress being made across all age groups at Strabane RFC and reflect the hard work being put in by players, coaches, schools and volunteers throughout the community.

Ruan has played a big part in the development of Strabane Rugby Club during his time here. Heโ€™s coached, played, helped out in schools, and always been willing to lend a hand around the club. From the changing room to the pitch, his good humour, craic, and character made him a valued part of the team and heโ€™ll definitely be missed by everyone.

Of course, no goodbye would be complete without mentioning that youโ€™ve been one of the best wingers the club has ever seen ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

We really hope your experience here stands to you going forward and that you leave with plenty of great memories and life experience. As you can probably see from this video, there have been plenty of laughs along the way!
