Good effort by our under 11’s tonight vs Bready👏👏

Bready batted first and scored 170. There was a wicket each for Chrisy and Adam and 2 wickets for Arthur🔥

In a shortened second innings Strabane made 120 with a good partnership from Aaron and Adam helping towards that💥

There is no photo from tonight as the sky emptied and we all had to run for cover☔️☔️

Well done kids and well done to Bready, a very strong and well coached team👏👏

Well done to our 3 girls in a North West U16 Inter-squad game tonight❤️🖤

Abaigh was great with the bat after scoring 14* and bowled very well with 2 wickets (4-0-16-2)

Abbey-Gale was brilliant with her off-spin taking 4 wickets (4-0-16-4)

And Anna-Lisa opened the bowling and picked up 2 wickets as well (4-0-26-2)

Well done girls, it is great to see all the hard work paying off!

Hopefully the weather improves in the next couple of days to get some cricket played this weekend☔️☔️

If it does, our 1XI men will take on Saint Johnston tomorrow in a T20 and in a league fixture on Saturday. Both games will be in The Park🏏

On Sunday, our 2XI men will play at home vs Burndennett as they look to get back to winning ways💪

Please note out women’s 1XI game tonight vs Ballyspallen has been called off due to the rain🌧️🌧️

Hard luck to our under 13’s who lost out to Letterkenny by 7 wickets tonight👏👏

Strabane won the toss and batted first scoring 93-5 in our 16 overs.

Aaron Devine was top class for his 24 (4 fours) and Ronan McNulty was brilliant with 36* retired (6 fours)

There were early wickets for Ronan (1-24) and Jacob (1-14) but Letterkenny were batting well.

It was great to everyone overs under the belt with Dylan and Robbie bowling very well and Chrisy (1-7) picking up a wicket as well.

Well done kids another great effort❤️🖤

WOWWWWWWW WHAT A WIN❤️🖤❤️🖤

We are all very proud of our under 11’s tonight after a last ball win vs Letterkenny to reach the cup semi final👏👏👏

The kids won by 6 wickets on the last ball of a fantastic game of cricket!

Letterkenny scored 107-2 in their 16 overs and set us a great total. There were 2 wickets for captain Jacob💥💥

It was a confident bunch at the interval and it showed with the bat, Adam Mackey got us off to a great start with 7 (1 four).

After that great partnership formed with Aaron (21) with 1 four and Skipper Jacob McNulty (25) with 4 fours kept us up with the rate🌟🌟

After the lads were dismissed by some good bowling Farah McNulty joined Arthur Patton at the crease. Farah made a quick fire 9 with 1 four to keep the momentum going🔥

Arthur remained calm through out and he was joined by his sister Cassie with 2 overs to go when we needed 11 off 12🤞😁

The two ran hard and batted brilliantly with Arthur ending 20 not out and Cass hit the winning run off her legs on the last ball of the game to win a tense thriller in The Park🌟🌟🌟

The atmosphere was great with loads of Strabane support cheering the kids on❤️🖤

We now look forward to the semi final of the cup with the date TBC👀
