🌿✨ A huge thank you to W. D. Smith & Son for their generous donation of plants to us here at Gorsefield Outdoor Learning Centre.

These wonderful additions will help us continue to enhance our gardens and outdoor spaces for the children, schools and groups who visit us throughout the year. 🌸🌱

Following our recent sell-out Spring Pop-Up Restaurant, we’re excited to share that our next event is now open for bookings:

✨ A Taste of Gorsefield: The Al Fresco Table (July) ✨

Join us for a relaxed and welcoming evening of outdoor dining, featuring a delicious, seasonal menu prepared by our Head Chef Tom, using homegrown, foraged and locally sourced ingredients. 🌱

Our last event had such a lovely atmosphere — here’s what one guest said:

🍽️✨ A look back at some delicious moments at Gorsefield… ✨🍽️

We’re taking a moment to celebrate some of the amazing food enjoyed by our guests recently — all lovingly prepared by our fantastic kitchen team, led by Head Chef Tom and Sous Chef Sarah. 👏

From classic fish and chips 🐟🍟 to freshly made brioche buns 🍔, indulgent brownies 🍫, light and fruity pavlovas 🍓, and irresistible mini cinnamon buns 🌀 — every dish is created with care and attention to make each stay that little bit more special.

Great food is such an important part of the Gorsefield experience, and we’re so proud of the team for consistently delivering meals that our guests love. 💚

🌿🍽️ A wonderful evening — and the next one is already on the horizon…

We had a fantastic evening on Friday at our sell-out Spring Pop-Up Restaurant Fundraiser here at Gorsefield Outdoor Learning Centre.

Guests enjoyed amazing food prepared by our Head Chef, Tom, alongside a thoughtful and inspiring talk from our Writer-in-Residence, Jonny Walker. It was a truly special evening, bringing people together and raising much-needed funds for the Gorsefield Charitable Foundation. 🌳💚

Pop-up Restaurant Fundraiser

🌿✨ A wonderful week at Gorsefield…

Two weeks ago, we had a fantastic time with Wellington Primary School, who enjoyed a week full of outdoor learning and adventure.

There was some beautiful nature art 🎨, alongside all the usual Gorsefield activities, making the most of the great outdoors. 🌳

A special highlight was when some of the children helped Sarah with pizza topping 🍕 for their dinner — followed by a campfire 🔥 to round off the week perfectly.

Such a lovely group, and a joy to have with us! 💚
