One Last Look at the Summer That Flew By
It’s been a while since I’ve posted, and with the clocks going back this weekend, it feels like the right time to pause and look back a bit.
This summer seems to have slipped by in a blur of salty water, early mornings, and some really special swims. I spent a lot of it away with SwimQuest Swimming Holidays, helping swimmers explore new places, build confidence, and find that simple joy of being out in open water. It was busy, brilliant, and full of good people and even better swims. 💦
But some of the best moments were right here at home — the YogaSwim sessions, those walks and dips out at the Mulberry Harbour, and the event training with swimmers pushing their limits. Those local swims are the heart of what I do, and they reminded me how lucky I am to have such a strong, supportive little community here. 💙
Now, as the water cools and the mornings get darker, I’m feeling grateful for all of it — the travel, the teaching, the laughter, and the (few) quiet moments in between.
Here’s to carrying a bit of that summer energy into autumn (and beyond). 🍂
A few memories below — before I pack the summer kit away for another season.
Thanks to everyone who shared the water with me this summer — near or far. It’s been a good one. Now, time to dig out the bobble hat and keep dipping through the chill (maybe!).
Where did your summer swims take you this year? Always love hearing what everyone’s been up to. 💬🌊
