🏁 LIMITED PLACES REMAIN FOR CADET & JUNIOR SOUTH ROUND 6 AT LYDD! 🏁

Round 6 of the Club100 Cadet & Junior South Championships heads to Lydd this weekend, with limited spaces available in all race classes.

There are no spaces available for the pre-event testing, so any new race session entries must already hold a passed Club100 evaluation on their MotorsportUK race licence.

This is the fifth race event of the season and, for drivers who have competed at every round so far, Lydd will see their 9th and 10th race results added to the championship. With the best 10 results from a possible 14 counting towards the final standings, the shape of the title battles is beginning to become increasingly important.

And that makes this weekend a potentially pivotal one.

🏆 Cadet Lightweight has become a closely fought battle at the front, with Jacob Underhill, Luke Collins and Ronnie Deacon separated by only a handful of points.

🏆 Cadet Super Lightweight sees Jack Thompson leading the way, with Harvey Ball and Harley Drury keeping the pressure on. Could Thompson move closer to a North-South championship double on Sunday?

🏆 Junior Lightweight is another incredibly close contest, with Leo Engels, Henry Wilkes, Ollie Brunel-while, Dan Griffin and Antony Roberts all right in the championship picture. With points-scoring room for improvements for all involved!

🏆 Junior Super Lightweight is just as competitive, with Sam Morse leading Ellis Mckenzie and Edgar Azevedo as the title fight continues to develop.

With the final championship positions determined by the best 10 scores from 14, Lydd could be the weekend where some drivers put themselves within touching distance of their title rivals – and potentially set themselves up for a huge advantage heading into the final rounds of the season.

🏁 SPRINTS SOUTH ROUND 6 | LLANDOW 🏁

Round 6 of the Club100 Sprints South Championship produced a huge day of racing at Llandow, with several championship battles reaching their conclusion and four drivers now provisionally securing their respective class titles.

There were also some standout performances across all three divisions, including a third consecutive victory for Andrew O’Neill, a first South A Final win of the season for Logan McAlister and a winning return for Jacob Harris.

🔴 LIGHTWEIGHT

Logan McAlister took his first Sprints South A Final victory of the season, leading home Jack O’Neill and Dante Dhillon at Llandow. McAlister held off O’Neill by just 0.369 seconds, while O’Neill set the fastest lap of the race.

Jack’s second-place finish was more than enough to secure the provisional C1 championship title, giving him his first Sprint Lightweight crown since 2021.

Joseph Simcock was the leading C2 driver in seventh overall, while Max Thorne was the top Rookie after finishing ninth.

In the championship standings, Lewis Marchant remains the leading C2 driver, sitting fourth overall.

⚫ MIDDLEWEIGHT

Max Chapman claimed victory in the Middleweight A Final, beating Ethan Saunders-Wilks by 1.794 seconds, with Ross Sandwell completing the podium.

It was another strong result for Saunders-Wilks, who has now finished on the podium in four consecutive rounds. His second place was also enough to secure the provisional C1 championship title.

Adam Barras took double honours as not only Top Rookie, but also first of the C2's home in the A Final. A tremendous result.

Despite a difficult day, Thomas Hughes also secured the provisional C2 championship title with a round to spare.

🔵 HEAVYWEIGHT

Andrew O’Neill continued his remarkable run of form with a third consecutive Sprints South victory, taking the Heavyweight A Final ahead of Sam Pooley and Mikey Nichols.

The victory also confirmed O’Neill as the provisional C1 Heavyweight champion, adding another championship crown to an already remarkable 2026 season.

Sam White was the leading C2 driver in sixth overall, while Nathan Ampofo-Anim was the top Rookie in the A Final.

There was a fantastic story further down the field too, as Jacob Harris returned to the Sprints South series for the first time since the end of the 2024 season and immediately won the Super Heavyweight class. Even better, the South Wales racer achieved the result at his local track, finishing 21st overall and first of the SHW runners.

Elliot Alt remains the leading C2 driver in the Heavyweight championship, with Karolis Koncikas only five points behind him in the current standings.

🏆 A HUGE DAY FOR THE O’NEILLS

With Jack O’Neill securing the Lightweight C1 title and Andrew O’Neill taking the Heavyweight C1 crown, the pair have now become the first drivers since Jack himself in 2021 to claim triple titles across Club100’s Senior weekend championships.

Jack’s 2021 triple-title haul consisted of the Sprint, SP60 and Team Endurance championships, while both O’Neills have now matched that remarkable achievement across the 2026 Senior season.

The Sprints South Championship now has just one round remaining.

The final round of the season will take place at Silverstone on November 8th, where the remaining championship battles will be settled.

Please note that all championship titles described as provisional remain subject to any end-of-season points deductions that may be applied.

🏁 O'Neill dominance continues | SP40 South & SP60
📍 Llandow

Round 6 of the Club100 SP40 South and SP60 Championships took the action to Llandow on Saturday, with the penultimate round of the season producing another set of impressive performances and further movement in the championship battles.

With Silverstone now confirmed as the final round on November 7th, just two races remain in the 2026 season.

🔴 SP40 Heavyweight

Andrew O'Neill continued his remarkable SP40 Heavyweight season with another overall victory at Llandow. After finishing second in Race 1, O'Neill returned to the top step in Race 2 to score 97 points.

Mike Philippou took the opening race victory and finished second overall, while Charlie Wainwright and Tim Penny both finished on 89 points, with Wainwright taking third on countback.

Andrew O'Neill's latest victory extends his advantage at the top of the championship, where his counting total now stands at 400 points compared to Tim Penny's current 360. With just two races remaining, O'Neill has already secured the championship under the dropped-score system.

🔵 SP40 Lightweight

Jack O'Neill was once again in a class of his own in SP40 Lightweight, completing another perfect two-race score with victories in both races at Llandow.

Max Thorne followed with two second-place finishes to take a comfortable second overall, while Callum Martin edged Marcus Allan on countback for third after both drivers finished on 87 points.

Jack O'Neill's dominance of the championship continues. With his counting total now standing at 400 points, he has already secured the title, with Callum Martin currently second on 362 points.

The final round at Silverstone will therefore be about the battle for the remaining championship positions, rather than the destination of the title.

🟢 SP60 Lightweight

Another maximum score for Jack O'Neill in SP60 Lightweight as the championship leader produced his third perfect two-race score of the SP60 season, winning both races at Llandow.

Callum Martin was a strong second with two runner-up finishes, while Andrew Graham completed the podium after finishing third in Race 1 and fifth in Race 2.

Ross Kelly and Lewis Marchant rounded out the top five, with Marchant particularly unlucky after a fourth-place finish in Race 2 followed a seventh in the opening race.

Jack O'Neill's championship title was secured last time out. There will be strong interest in who finishes runner-up with Martin and Marchant locked together on counting scores with one round to go.

⚫ SP60 Heavyweight

Andrew O'Neill once again came out on top in SP60 Heavyweight, recovering from second in Race 1 to win Race 2 and take the overall victory with 97 points.

Tim Penny opened the day with victory before finishing third in Race 2 to claim second overall, while Sam Iddles completed the podium with third and second-place finishes.

Yusuf Soeharjono and Samuel Bensley completed the top five.

In the Super Heavyweight class, Martin Cox was again the leading SHW driver, finishing 11th overall after scoring 36 and 38 points across the two races.

Andrew O'Neill's championship lead is now beyond reach. His counting total stands at 400 points, compared with Tim Penny's current 367, meaning he has secured the SP60 Heavyweight title with the final round still to come.

Cox will look to seal the Super Heavyweight title next time at the home of British motorsport.

Round 6 is complete and all four Southern championships have now been decided at the top.

The final round of the season will take place at Silverstone on November 7th, where the remaining championship positions will be settled and the 2026 season will come to a close.
