Charlie Rumble Snr started the Rumble boxing dynasty in 1988 back at the St Mary’s amateur boxing club in Chatham (Medway Towns) as head coach up until 2008. in that time this club went from strength to strength producing national champions year in year out and also many boxers being able to represent their country. After all of those years the St Mary’s story came to an end and it was time for ne
w beginnings for Charlie and his family to start a new challenge opening a gym of their own known as Rumbles Boxing Academy. This club has also done fantastic since its time of opening in 2008 producing national champions again year in year out and also more boxers representing their country, we have a great coaching team here and are pleased with the squad we have got (Beginners, Juniors, Youths, Seniors). Both have had great Amateur careers and make a name for themselves on the circuit Charlie winning multiple national titles and representing England on 5 occasions before turning to the professional ranks. As did younger son Billy Boxing top opposition as an amateur and also representing England, Also Billy turned to the pro ranks having 2 contests with 2 wins. We are looking to carry on our success in 2016 and are always welcoming new members to come down and join the team.
