What a day at The Queen of Yorkshire Strongwoman Competition today! Fantastic comp and loved seeing Amy, Alice and Gabi smash it and have fun. Very proud of my ladies who have been training hard and putting the work in 💪🏼. Thanks to the organisers, refs, loaders and also the other lovely ladies who were competing. Good vibes and awesome lifting all round.

Amy came 3rd in the Inters category 🤩 absolutely incredible performance with some highlights being a PB log of 58kg, coming 2nd in the 60kg sandbag to shoulder and hitting 140kg deadlift for 2 after rehabbing a back injury this year. Incredible progress because she's constantly putting the work in! Can't wait to see what she does next 💪🏼

Alice came 6th in her first ever Strongwoman competition and is Queen of the sandbags in my eyes coming 2nd in the sandbag steeplechase being absolutely rapid and coming 1st in the sandbag to shoulder with incredible technique and conditioning! Huge 15 reps on the deadlift event too 🤩. Bravo girl, let's get the next booked in 👏🏼

Gabi, what a character who brings the energy and smiles 😁. Also some amazing performances in her first full Strongwoman competition including a PB of 8 reps on 100kg deadlift, picking up the speed for a big PB in the sandbag steeplechase and coming joint 4th in the sandbag throw for distance 👏🏼. We love your energy and enthusiasm, you have such potential and I can't wait to see what you can achieve going forward!

It’s that time again—I’m now recruiting for the next 12-week cycle of Get Strong! Are you looking to join a supportive community of people of all ages, backgrounds, and ability levels on your journey toward becoming fitter and stronger? Come be a part of our next Get Strong block in Sheffield, starting the week of October 5th. These sessions are designed not only to build your confidence with weight training and getting physically stronger, but to foster connections and bring people together through the power of fitness.

I have 2 online coaching spots that are going to be available from Monday 2nd of February! Would you like some guidance with your strength training? Would you like to have a plan that is tailored to you and your goals? Whether you train at a gym or have limited equipment at home. I can put a plan together that will work with your lifestyle and help you to improve strength, body composition, rehabilitate injuries and improve focus and mental well being through resistance training and fitness.

Different packages are available depending on whether you want continuous online coaching with weekly check in and feedback, or a one off plan and more of a hands off approach with a check in every 4 weeks. I also offer in person 1-1 coaching to ensure that you are confident with lifting technique and the structure of your plan. I hope to hear from you soon :)

Senior Strength sessions starting Wednesdays at 11am from the 9th of July!
These sessions are for people who are 60+ and who have never done strength training before. Come and start your strength training journey now in a safe and supportive environment. It is never too late! Everything can be modified to your level and ability. I have limited numbers to 4 to ensure that I can give you the amount of time and attention that you need, but there is still the social element of training in a small group 😊

Strength training has so many benefits as we age such as improving bone density and mobility, preventing muscle loss and strengthening existing muscle mass, improving balance and stability, reducing risk of falls.

What a day at for the Here Come The Girls Comp! So unbelievably proud of my ladies today 😁. Thanks to all the organizers, helpers and loaders for a great day.

We had come 3rd in the Novice comp and took the win in the stones today with a massive 80kg for 2 PB 🔥. Stacey has trained so hard for this and absolutely smashed a speedy yoke into farmers when she used to say farmers were her nemesis. I'm so proud of her performance all round 👏🏼

came 4th on count back but had equal points for 3rd in the Masters category. Lucy smashed out 9 reps on the 130kg deadlift to come 2nd in that event. Absolutely loved the grit and determination, this was a big PB. Also a big PB on the 100kg stone for 2 reps. You can see the excitement in the video 🤩. Lucy always brings the 🔥 at competitions.

came 2nd at her 2nd ever competition and really stepped it up entering the inters 💪🏼. I am so proud of her for massively pushing herself with the weights. 150kg deadlift for 2 reps, which was Amy's previous 1RM not that long ago and she hit the 100kg stone for 4 reps which is so impressive after only starting Strongwoman last year!!

The ladies will upload more videos and comp round ups on their pages I'm sure but I'm absolutely buzzing after seeing all the ladies smash today and just having fun! Lots of lovely ladies doing some cool s**t and pushing their limits. It's what it's all about.
