Normally when I go on holiday, I don’t train.

If I’m away for 4-5 days or a week?

I’m quite happy to have the break 😂

But I’m in Mauritius for longer this time, and I actually WANT to get a few sessions in.

Not because I’m trying to burn off last night’s beers.

Not because I’m worried about losing progress.

And definitely not because I feel guilty for eating more than I normally would.

I just know that after a few days of doing very little, I start wanting to move again.

So…45 minutes in the gym.

Get a decent session done.

Then straight back to enjoying the holiday.

And I think that’s an important distinction.

You don’t NEED to train on holiday.

A week off the gym isn’t going to suddenly undo all your progress.

But if you’re away for a bit longer and you fancy training?

Do it.

It doesn’t make you obsessive.

Sometimes you just genuinely enjoy training and feel better for doing it.

I’m currently in Mauritius.

I’m eating out.
I’m having a few beers.
I’m definitely not weighing everything I eat 😂

But that doesn’t mean everything goes completely out the window.

A few things I’m still doing:

💧 Plenty of water
🚶🏻 Staying active each day
🥩 Getting protein into most meals
🥗 Making decent choices most of the time
🍺 Enjoying the beers without turning every day into a free-for-all

…and that’s the bit people often get wrong.

You don’t have to choose between being 100% “on it” or completely sacking it off.

A holiday is there to be enjoyed.

Have the beer.
Eat the nice food.
Have dessert if you want it.

Then come home and get back into your normal routine.

A week away won’t undo months of progress.

But believing you have to be perfect to make progress can keep you stuck for years.

35LB DOWN…and still enjoying the vino 🍷😂

Craig didn’t want fitness to take over his life.

He wanted to lose weight, get stronger and feel better…while still enjoying holidays, meals out, rugby weekends and a few glasses of wine.

87kg → 71kg.

Proof that you don’t need perfection.

You need consistency.

DM me “INTERESTED” if you’re ready to get started.

Over 35lb gone.

But Craig told me something right at the start that mattered:

“I want to continue to enjoy food and drink.”

And he has 😂

There have been holidays.

Rugby weekends.

Work events.

Meals out.

Wine.

Busy periods where training has had to fit wherever it could.

His original target was simply to get below 80kg.

He started at 87kg.

…then, he dropped to 71kg 🤩

But he hasn't just lost weight.

He’s built muscle, got stronger, taken up running, completed 10Ks and completely changed the way he approaches his health and fitness.

No disappearing for 12 weeks and putting life on hold.

Just strength training, cardio, steps, water, better nutrition…and doing those things consistently for a LONG time.

Craig summed it up better than I could:

“Just about doing stuff and being as consistent as possible. Results look after themselves.”

35lb later…I think he might be onto something 👊🏻

DM me “INTERESTED” if you want help doing the same.

It’s September.

And after a summer of holidays, BBQs, weekends away, kids being off and routine being all over the place, it’s VERY tempting to go:

“Right. That’s it. Back on it.” 😂

5 gym sessions.
10,000 steps every day.
Perfect food.
No alcohol.
Meal prep every Sunday.

And by week two…you’re knackered.

Instead, use this first week to get the basics back.

💧 Drink more water.
🚶🏻 Get your steps moving again.
🏋🏻 Train 2-3 times.
🥩 Get protein into your meals.
🥗 Get some normal meals back in.

Nothing extreme.

You’ve got the whole month ahead of you.

Don’t try to win September in the first week, just start building some momentum.

What’s ONE thing you’re getting back on track with this week? 👇🏻

There’s ALWAYS something coming up 😂

The goal isn’t waiting for life to calm down…it’s building a routine that works when it doesn’t 👊🏻

September always feels like the month you’re supposed to suddenly have your sh*t together 😂

👉🏻 Kids back at school.
👉🏻 Holidays done.
👉🏻 Routine returning...and everyone’s ready for the big “September reset.”

But if you’re a busy parent trying to lose weight, you probably don’t need more motivation.

You need fewer things to think about.

👉🏻 Know which 2-3 days you’re training.
👉🏻 Have 3 or 4 easy evening meals you can rotate.
👉🏻 Keep easy protein options in.
👉🏻 Have a rough step target...and most importantly, know what you’re doing when the week DOESN’T go to plan.

Because September will still have late finishes, busy weekends, tired evenings and days where the gym is the last thing you fancy.

You don’t need a perfect September.

You need a routine that survives an imperfect one.

What’s the biggest thing you want to get back into routine with this month? 👇🏻

23lb down…over summer ☀️

Holidays. Date nights. Meals out. Real life.

Kelly still enjoyed ALL of it and kept making progress.

23LB DOWN…OVER SUMMER ☀️

Read that again.

Because Kelly hasn’t spent the last four months hiding away saying no to everything.

There’s been holidays.

Meals out.

Busy days at work.

Weekends where things haven’t gone perfectly.

But THAT’S why I love this result.

Kelly came to me wanting to lose weight, feel confident, drop dress sizes and finally have some structure around what she was doing.

Not another diet she couldn’t maintain.

Pretty early on, things started changing.

Inches dropping, strength going up and a size 14 dress she expected to be tight was actually too big.

She learned how to enjoy a meal out without feeling guilty.

How to have a weekend away without writing off Monday.

How to work training around a busy week rather than waiting for the perfect one.

Now she’s 23LB DOWN and in her own words ⬇️

“I feel more confident in myself, clothes fit amazing and all of it fitted around my work, date nights and holidays.”

That’s the goal.

Not putting your life on hold to lose weight.

Learning how to lose weight while still having one.

If you’re ready to make the next few months count...

Message me INTERESTED and let’s chat.

Stop chasing perfect weeks.

Get better at handling the imperfect ones 👊🏻

That’s where real consistency, and results come from.
