Four brands. One team.

One of the best things about this weekend’s HYROX Sim wasn’t who crossed the finish line first… it was seeing Scunthorpe & District Running Club, PureGym, RESO24 and Energie Fitness all represented under one roof.

Four different communities, all coming together to compete, support one another and enjoy the event. That’s exactly what Unit 5 is about.

Whether you train in a commercial gym, a running club, a CrossFit box, or with your work colleagues, everyone is welcome. HYROX has a way of bringing people together, and this weekend proved it.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and represented their club so well.

Good luck to our Red Bull Gym Clash team as they head to Liverpool today for the UK Qualifiers!

Mixed teams of four, regional qualifiers across the country, a National Final at Red Bull Racing in Milton Keynes, and then a World Final featuring teams from 28 countries. No pressure then! 😅

These four have put the work in and earned their spot, and we’re proud to see them representing Unit 5 and Scunthorpe on a national stage.

We’ve also got another team entered, with the London qualifiers still to come, so fingers crossed we’ll be sending even more athletes through.

Go and show them what Scunthorpe is made of. 🔥

Last weekend we hosted the Hybrid Team Trials.

Teams of 4 (2 males, 2 females) took on three very different tests:

Trial 1 – Strength
Trial 2 – Endurance
Trial 3 – Metabolic Conditioning

But this wasn’t just about who was the fastest or strongest. It was about strategy, teamwork, and figuring out how to get the best out of every member of your team.

The sun was shining, the atmosphere was unreal, PBs were flying around, and every team left it all out on the floor.

At Unit 5, we believe fitness should challenge you, but it should also bring people together. Competition can be hard, but it can still be fun. The best days are the ones where you push your limits, cheer on your teammates, celebrate each other’s wins… and finish it all off with a burger and a b**r.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, supported, judged, and helped make the day what it was.

This is what Unit 5 is all about. Community.
Effort.
Fun.
