Reminder this Friday at the Shed is our Sponsors Information Evening.

For any current and future sponsors, come and meet us, our Sponsorship Co-ordinator Charmian will be on hand for a chat about the sponsorship options. We will also have reps from our Youth and Senior sides if you want to find out more about life at Saltash RFC.

The World Cup of football continues on Tuesday 23rd with England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 v Ghana 🇬🇭.

You can follow the action on the telly at the Club house where kick off is at 9pm, and the bar available from 8pm.

Get there early to get your seat.

Our congratulations to Rod Davies, our new Club President at Saltash Rugby Club.

Rod was our Press Officer until recently and as a former player from our foundation years, Rod has the culture of the Ashes at his heart and will be supporting our new committee as they take SRFC into the 2026-2027 season.

Saturday 20th June at Saltash Rugby Club we have the PREM Final on and if the semi-final is anything to go by, the shed will be rocking with a high percentage of Chiefs fans without tickets.

As the dust settles after our AGM, one of our volunteers, Ewan McLean has been elected to the role of Club Captain for the coming season.

It will be his role to bring our senior playing staff together, unite them for the campaign to come and to represent them in our management structure.

Congratulations Ewan and thanks for stepping up.

Our sincere and grateful thanks to another of our valued volunteers.

Pete Congo's involvement with the Ashes stretches back decades to his playing days back in the day when he also captained Saltash RFC.

Pete then was involved off the field for a number of years as Coach, Chair and Groundsman, before taking a step back to the groundsman role and running the touchline on a Saturday.

Pete has spent a good deal of time behind the scenes lining the pitch, cutting the grass and preparing the pitch ready for match day on a Saturday for more years than we can remember.

Pete's long service was recognised this season when he was presented with a Cornwall RFU Volunteer award for all his hard work.

Pete has decided to take a step back from his role moving forward and we look forward to seeing him on the touchline for a drink or 2.

Thanks Pete for all your hard work.
