A beautiful evening for a slow race on the river last night. Not quite competitive drifting… it does however take great skill to keep the boat moving in such light conditions.

It is with great regret that we must inform members of the death of long standing club member Dave Oliver.
Dave joined the club in the 1970’s. He organised the building of the East wall at the front of the car park, and was always very involved in club activities. He was a stalwart of the club and very much involved in making the club what it is today.
He was Commodore in 2011 and 2012 and was a trustee for many years.

Dear Members -

Please note there is a slight change to the fun planned on Saturday. Due to a commitment a band member has, the timing has been changed from a 3pm to 4pm start.

Don't let that delay you through! John's Galley will be open from 1pm to enjoy a leisurely lunch, and we will be playing some tunes from the decking.

Come and enjoy the carpark garden (much like the J24 event) along with some sunshine. At the moment the forecast looks great!

See you there!

Great picture of an SSC cadet sailing a Topper 4.2 in his first ever race! Thanks Paul Gibbins Photography
