Trematon made it another successful evening in the league with a 3โ€“1 victory over Saltash United Tamar.

The opening stages were a close battle, with both sides creating chances and working hard to gain control of the game.

The game continued to be played at a good pace, with both teams showing plenty of attacking intent and creating opportunities at either end. Trematon eventually broke the deadlock in the 28th minute when J Cox found the back of the net to make it 1โ€“0.

Trematon went into the break with their one-goal advantage intact.

The second half continued in much the same way, with a fair battle between the two sides and chances being created at both ends. Tamar got themselves back into the game in the 40th minute to make it 1โ€“1.

Trematon responded well and regained the lead in the 50th minute through D Thompson with a superbly worked goal. A couple of excellent flicks helped create the opening before D Thompson produced a lovely floated strike over the keeper to make it 2โ€“1.

Trematon continued to look dangerous and extended their lead in the 58th minute when L Fleetwood made it 3โ€“1.

Tamar continued to battle right through to the final whistle, but Trematon defended their advantage and came away with a hard-fought 3โ€“1 victory.

The game was a great advert for Saltash United Juniors and demonstrated how grassroots football should be played. With many of the players knowing each other away from football, there was a great sense of friendship and respect between the two sides. Both teams competed hard, created chances and played the game in the right spirit, showing exactly what grassroots football is all about.

A big credit to both teams for the way they approached the game. โค๏ธโšฝ

Trematon made it two league games unbeaten with a 3โ€“1 victory over Drake FC.

The opening ten minutes were a competitive battle between the two sides, with both teams working hard and neither able to establish a clear advantage. The game remained closely contested as both sides looked to gain control, before Trematon took the lead in the 14th minute, with Henry Bishop finding the net.

Just a minute later, Henry Bishop struck again to double the advantage and make it 2โ€“0. The remainder of the first half continued to be competitive, with both sides having periods of pressure and creating opportunities. Trematon went into half-time with a 2โ€“0 lead.

The second half continued in a similar fashion, with both teams looking to make an impact. There were chances at both ends, with one Drake effort going narrowly wide, while Trematon continued to threaten in attack. Trematon extended their lead in the 73rd minute, when Joseph Cox made it 3โ€“0.

Drake responded almost immediately, scoring in the 74th minute to reduce the deficit to 3โ€“1.

Both sides continued to compete through the closing stages, but Trematon held on to secure the victory and another three points.

A competitive game between two committed sides, with Trematon taking their chances when it mattered to come away with a 3โ€“1 victory. ๐Ÿ”ดโšช
