First league win of the season, and won’t be the last. What a way to get it. Jamie Cullen with the opener inside 10 minutes, then Dylan Vince doubling the lead to seal it. A brilliant, performance from the boys, and three massive points on the road. 😝

Rocco Cullen is back for 26/27 and there is plenty to be excited about.

A dynamic forward who makes himself useful in all thirds, Rocco is as comfortable contributing to build-up play as he is threatening in the final third. But it is not just what he does on the pitch that makes him valuable. On the training ground he sets the standard, someone whose habits and attitude raise the level of those around him.

We play Sundays in the Sussex Sunday Football League and have two trialist sessions coming up at the Caburn Community Ground: Thursday 3rd and Thursday 10th September, 9-10pm. Full time: Ringmer AFC 1-1 Westfield.

Fast start to this one, Aidan West opening the scoring inside 3 minutes before Westfield replied a minute later. Tight game from there with a couple of yellows shown, but we’ll take the point on a bank holiday afternoon at the Caburn.
