💙🤍 JOSH REJOINS 💙🤍

Redcar Town are delighted to announce that defensive utility player Josh Farrell has committed to the club for the 26/27 season.

Josh, who is equally at home in the centre of defence or the centre of midfield, is a combative player who is good on the ball, very composed and assured in possession, but tigerish in the tackle when the opposition have the ball.

Josh began last season with the U23s before making the move across to the reserve side towards the close of last season, an old head on Young’s shoulders. We look forward to watching Josh continue to progress this season.

Redcar Town Reserves are delighted to announce experienced centre forward Chris Dickinson has signed for the upcoming season.

A former professional, Dicko has plenty of first-team experience at Redcar Town and is a quality footballer who can do outrageous things on the ball.

Chris will add a physical presence and a goal threat to the forward line and is a massive character who the young lads will learn from.

Redcar Town reserves are delighted to announce central defender Spencer Phelps as their first signing off the summer.

Spencer moves across to the Reserves from our U23s following a successful season last year.

Spencer made his first debut against Darlington Town and is a player we regard as one who can continue to progress with the club and break into the First Team squad on a regular basis.

The reserves returned to training last night with a great turnout in both numbers and quality.

Joint Manager Chris Nicholson ‘Really good first session, good to see some familiar faces as well as some really exciting new talent, there’s a buzz about the club as a whole and we can’t wait to kick on, we had lad’s from the first team down which shows how keen everyone is to get started.’

🟦⬜️ 𝑴𝑬𝑬𝑻 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑴𝑨𝑵𝑨𝑮𝑬𝑹’𝑺 🟦⬜️

💙 We had a catch-up with the new Reserves management team and thought it only right that you got to know a bit more about the new gaffers.

🏆 Chris Nicholson has been coaching the first team for the last two seasons, culminating in our Northern League 2 triumph this year. Chris has a tremendous pedigree and is a key figure in the history of Redcar Town.

⚽️ Craig Smee has progressed through the ranks of the Junior teams at Redcar since leaving the RAF, and his first season in senior level saw his U23’s team promoted and reach a cup final.

🤝 We can’t wait to get the season started!

🟦⬜️ 𝑵𝑬𝑾 𝑺𝑬𝑨𝑺𝑶𝑵, 𝑵𝑬𝑾 𝑶𝑷𝑷𝑶𝑹𝑻𝑼𝑵𝑰𝑻𝑰𝑬𝑺 🟦⬜️

💙 Redcar Town have come a long way in a short time, and we want to continue our progress. To do that, we need your help.

🤝 We have a variety of off-field roles that we need volunteers to fill. We require a secretary to support the Reserve Team as we go into the 26/27 season.

🤕 We would also like to hear from any trainee physios that want practical experience, primarily supporting the reserve team but also supporting our First Team physio, Marshall Topham.

👀 If you watch a lot of football at a local level, then get in touch as we try to build up a proper scouting network for the club.

⚽️ If you just love football and want to get involved at the club, then we’d love to hear from you.

🟦⬜️ 𝑵𝑬𝑾 𝑴𝑨𝑵𝑨𝑮𝑬𝑴𝑬𝑵𝑻 𝑻𝑬𝑨𝑴 🟦⬜️

💙 Redcar Town are delighted to announce a restructuring of the management team for our Reserves and U23 sides for the 26/27 season. Chris Nicholson and Craig Smee will work in tandem managing the reserves, with Town playing legend Jamie Lee and Gary Sibley in supporting roles. Also joining the team is Ash Kelley, who will be the goalkeeping coach. Paul White is the new U23 manager, with his support staff to be announced shortly.

📈 We feel this team will give us the stability to continue our progression across the club. Chris played a massive part in the success of the first team last season, and Craig’s first season with the U23s saw promotion and a cup final.

🗣️ Head of Men’s Senior Development, Darren Sill, says, ‘We feel this gives us the best of both worlds. With Chris and Jamie’s close connection with the first team and Craig and Gary knowing the U23s inside out, we are in a great position to continue to develop talent with the emphasis on the pathway through the club. We’ve had a fantastic season, but we want to top that again going forward, and I’m delighted with the calibre of people we’ve got on the bench and on the pitch.’
