Well done to Callum H who competed at the Megafinal in York over the weekend. He finished on 3.5 points and qualifies for the Gigafinal at Manchester later in the year. ♟️

A reminder that Redcar Chess Club isn't on during June/July/August as we don't have the use of Redcar Literary Institute.

But keep an eye on the page for updates, online events, and one-off events that will be put on during the Summer months.

🏆Congratulations to Kian S who is the new Redcar Chess Club champion. Finishing on 4/5 he also takes the Adult winner title.

🏅Stanley A also finished on 4/5 to secure the U15 title

🏅Joseph S finished on 3.5/5 to win the U12 section

Chess club is on as usual this week. There are no matches so juniors are welcome to come down from 6pm onwards and adult members from 7pm on Thursday evening.
