A reminder that the club AGM is on Thursday 3 September. It would be great to see people there.

♟️ Redcar Chess Club Annual General Meeting

Our AGM will take place at 7.00 pm on Thursday 3 September 2026 at the Redcar Literary Institute.

All current members are encouraged to attend. Parents and guardians of our junior members are also warmly invited.

Following the AGM, the club will reopen for the new season on Thursday 10 September, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for another year of chess.

Lincoln Rapidplay has to be one of the finest chess venues! Played in the Chapter House of the cathedral. Matthew was there representing the club in the Open section finishing on 2/6.
