Tomorrow's event is cancelled due to the annual Thames Valley Park Regatta taking place.

This is followed by Reading Town Regatta on Saturday 27 June, so our next parkrun will be on Saturday 4 July.

𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀! 🏅

With near-perfect running weather greeting our 460 walkers, joggers and runners on Saturday, it was no surprise that there were plenty of reasons to celebrate out on the course.

A huge congratulations to junior parkrunner A***n, who completed his 10th parkrun and can now start eyeing up that shiny milestone tee. 👏

Joining the milestone club were Luis and Amit, who both reached their 25th parkrun. Nicely done, gentlemen! 🎉

And a special round of applause for Lucy, who completed her 50th parkrun. Half a century of Saturday mornings well spent! 🥳

Not all celebrations were parkrun-related, though. Sharp-eyed participants may have spotted Hailey, our bride-to-be, making her way around the course in a veil. She was certainly the easiest person to find in the field! We hope you had a fantastic big day. 💍

Congratulations to all our milestone achievers and celebrants. Thank you for making Reading parkrun such a wonderful community week after week.

What a way to celebrate 1 million parkrun events! Sun, fun, and 460 finishers - that's even not counting four legged companions, small people in buggies, and even smaller people in baby carriers.

With tourists swelling the numbers from as far away as Australia, Hong Kong and Woodley our thanks to the 23 volunteers who expertly pointed, clicked, clapped and scanned this morning.

This weekend, parkrun will host its 𝟭 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 ever event. 🤯

Since the first event in 2004, people have volunteered on more than 16 million occasions!

We are looking for just 6 more for this Saturday:
🪧 Course set up x 1
👏 Marshal x 2
🎟 Finish Token Support x1
🤳 Barcode Scanning x2

If we fill these roles, our roster will have all the necessary roles to put on another wonderful 5k.
