Part of the Thames Path National Trail 30th anniversary relay walk from the source to the sea. We will be walking Relay Leg 13, the Caversham to Henley section which includes the diversion at Shiplake via beautiful Harpsden Woods. We are excited to be leading this walk in partnership with Pipsticks Walks - Walk, Nordic Walk, Navigate. Hartslock Nature Reserve 💚
What a thoroughly fantastic morning we had yesterday in Goring, discovering so many wild flowers, including the beautiful Pyramidal, Common Spotted, and Lady-Monkey Orchids. It was such a great route - 8km of fields & farmlands with poppies, beech woods, insane views (thanks to 3 good hills), cows, bumblebees galore, a stag beetle, a mole, herons and our glorious river Thames. Huge thanks to our Walk Works Ecologist friend Helen, for sharing her vast knowledge of wildflowers and birdsong with us🐦‍⬛🥀

Friday 5th June, Goring & Hartslock Nature Reserve. We will be joined by ecologist Helen, friend of Walk Works who will be happy to tell us a thing or two about the orchids and wild flowers that we see! How exciting 😁 🥀🪻
Starting from Goring train station at 9.30am, the circular route is 8km with 2 good hills & the views from the top of the orchid slope are well worth the climb. It's stunning 😊

Our annual orchid appreciation morning is coming up! 🪻Friday 5th June - we have a NEW route from Goring-on-Thames, featuring wild flowers, Monkey Orchids, Pyramidal Orchids and Bee Orchids. Join us for a stunning 8km walk with the most beautiful views, cooling woods, Hartslock Nature Reserve and the river Thames Path National Trail.
