The face says it all. But this is judo.

So many positives from Daisy-Mo and Amelia at the English Closed. Mo couldn't defend her title, but she fought very well whilst conquering some demons. Up two weight groups with some lovely throws.

Amelia lost her fights, but possibly improved most of anyone in her pool. Really attacking all her fights with no fear.

Nice run out for Chuck and Callum yesterday.

Massive respect to Callum in particular. Hes had multiple trips to a&e to treat infected insect bites after completing his DofE, 10 days rest and medicine, he came straight in to compete, winning Silver in the Cadets and Bronze in the Juniors.

Chuck also won bronze in the cadets winning three and losing to the Gold Medalist.

Both lads were at the very bottom of there weight group, so they were terrific results in preperation for the end of the year.

Massive well done to Chuck, after finishing a week of exams with another exam on Friday afternoon, only to jump straight in the car and drive to Luxembourg, arriving there the next morning and fighting taking 5th. Absolutely not the result he wanted, but there is so much weight and age to be added yet 💪🏻

Hannah and Mo fought outstandingly, only to reach each over in the final. Fun drive to the hotel afterwards that was!!! 😜😭

British Schools 🥈 for Lauren Hucker..

Full Fat only enter a few this year.

Chuck unfortunately was injured at the start or his first contest which he couldn't overcome.

Callum Gifford won three contests, placing 7th. He worked really hard through the repechage with full distance contests and a golden score.

Amelia Ford just couldn't get her judo to click, no wins this year, more work needed 💪🏻

Lauren was so close, winning her final contest for 2 minutes before being taken backwards for ippon. Great efford. 🥈
