Always nice to get some good feedback. Here’s some from someone who has had some snooker coaching from me over the last few months.

Earlier today I received a phone call from the WPBSA’s Head of Coaching and a letter from the WPBSA’s Chairman confirming I have successfully passed their 1st 4 Sport Qualifications Level 2 Certificate in Snooker Coaching.
It is great to have a recognised coaching qualification alongside my years of experience and training I have received from the WPBSA and Ultimate Pool.
A lot of hard work went into this qualification which started in October. I undertook 6 hours of online training, 2 full days of face-to-face training, around 20 hours of home study, 9 hours of practical coaching and a few more hours of planning and documenting the coaching sessions, all of which was assessed by WPBSA.
This all makes me a better coach and will benefit everyone I teach. I feel proud to be the only coach in the country to complete the WPBSA 1st 4 Sport Level 2 Certificate in Snooker Coaching and Ultimate Pools Coaching programme.

🎓 ANNUAL WPBSA COACHING SEMINAR STAGED IN SHEFFIELD

John Parrott and developers of the new Play Snooker App were the headline speakers at the annual WPBSA Coaching Seminar which took place in Sheffield last Friday during the World Snooker Championship.

Great day on Saturday in Street for Minty’s Memorial 40 man competition.
Played some good pool all day and got all the way to the final.
Didn’t quite get over the line and finished runner up.
Over £1,100 was raised for MacMillan Cancer Support in memory of our late teammate which was a great effort, well done to everyone involved.
