How much weight should you lift as a beginner?
Probably less than you think.
When you're starting out, the goal isn't to see how much weight you can move.
The goal is to learn good technique and build confidence.
A good rule of thumb is that you should finish a set feeling like you could do a couple more repetitions if you absolutely had to.
Training isn't about proving how strong you are today.
It's about becoming stronger over time.
Start lighter. Learn the movement. Build from there ๐๏ธโโ๏ธโ
