We're inviting U12 girls' teams affiliated to Devon FA to a 6v6 event at the County Ground, playing small-sided games against the Devon FA Girls ETC U12 squad and
other clubs in attendance.

Entry is free, but places are limited to 14 teams on a first-come, first-served basis. Each club may enter one team, with the option to register interest in a second
should space allow. Open to any female teams playing in girls-only or mixed divisions in Devon.

We’re heading to Home Park, the home of Plymouth Argyle, for an evening focused on all things behaviour and discipline!

Join us on 15th October as we take a closer look at the latest behaviour updates, discipline matters and the work happening across grassroots football in Devon.

We’ll also be joined by Sport Integrity Matters, who will be there to share their insight and support the conversation.

This is a great opportunity for clubs, leagues, coaches, volunteers and anyone involved in the Devon Football Family to come along, ask questions and better understand the latest developments.

Tonight we remember a special individual who gave so much to the game in Devon. 💔

Julie Train, who devastatingly passed away recently, was an exceptional ambassador for girls’ football locally, and was instrumental in the provision and growth of the girls game in the Plymouth area with her involvement with Plymouth Aspire FC. 👏🏻

Julie's daughter, Rosie, is a former Devon FA Representative player herself and thoughts are with Rosie and the rest of the family at this very difficult time.

Thank you Julie for everything you did to support the growth and development of the girls’ game locally.

You will be hugely missed.

The Football Foundation have an exciting opportunity to help get even more women and girls playing football. Thanks to the Premier League, The FA and Government’s Football Foundation and The National Lottery, you can apply for everything you need to start a new team. Whether it’s for kit, coach and volunteer training, publicity or league fees, we’re here to help cover the costs.

Clubs can apply for £500 to run recreational sessions and £1,500 to set up new affiliated teams. You have until 30 September 2026 to submit your application.
