Covering around 59miles, 4000m elevation and dubbed "Britain's Loneliest", the Goat is designed to be a challenge and not to be underestimated. But the skills and experience needed can be developed through race specific training, research and hard work. So we've been thinking about what we can do to help with that and, importantly, get more women on the startline...
On 17th October 2026 x , in collaboration with , are planning a gathering in the Cheviots. This is an invitation to all women who are curious about the Goat to meet, test kit and ask questions about the experience - followed by a community run on the same terrain.
As our first meet up, spaces will be limited - but we hope to offer more like this in future, for runners across distances and communities.
