Silverblades Inline Skating Team We are an Inline skating team based in Altrincham who are currently the only team representing Great Britain.

In 2016 Donna McCarthy, head coach at Altrincham SIlverblades Ice Rink, was asked to put together an 'off ice' inline skating team with a view to representing Great Britain in international competitions. The team of 5 went to the 2016 World Open Inline Skating Championships in Milan returning with 3 gold medals. The team reformed in February this year with 18 skaters training on a weekly basis bot

h on and off the ice. The 2017 season sees the team focusing on two international competitions, The Diamond Skate Trophy in Venice, Italy and the WIFSA 2017 World Open Inline Skating Championships in Dijon France.
