🏉 COACH DEVELOPMENT AT MKRUFC

Last night, we were delighted to welcome .cottrell67 to Milton Keynes RUFC for an evening of coach development.

It was a fantastic session, combining both theory and practical exercises, giving our coaches new ideas, approaches, and techniques that they can take back into their age groups and onto the training pitch.

A huge thank you to Dan for giving up his time to come and work with us, share his knowledge, and support the continued development of rugby at MKRUFC.

We also want to say a massive thank you to our volunteer coaches. They continually give up their own time, not only to coach each week but also to develop their own skills and knowledge so they can provide the best possible experience for our players.

Developing our coaches helps us develop the players of the future. 🏉

🏉 OUR M+Js ARE BACK TOMORROW! 🤍🖤🤍🤍

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to Milton Keynes RUFC from 10am tomorrow morning as our Minis & Juniors officially kick off the new season!

We got things started last night with our annual Registration Evening, and it was fantastic to see so many players, parents, coaches and volunteers back at the club and ready to go for another exciting season.

Now it’s time to get back on the pitch! 🙌

At MKRUFC, we cater for boys and girls aged 4–16, from those picking up a rugby ball for the very first time through to experienced players continuing their rugby journey.

Never played rugby before? It doesn’t matter! Come along tomorrow morning, give it a try, meet some new friends, have fun and learn new skills with our friendly, qualified coaches and managers.

With the delay to the season, to get their rugby fix, our men's and women's team joined forces for a touch rugby evening for what was billed as 'a bit of fun on a Friday evening'.
Not quite how it turned out once the competitive juices started flowing and a trophy on the line. 4 sides battles it out with the Yellows taking home the victory.

Come and join us this Friday evening for our annual Registration Evening and kick-start the new season with the MKRUFC family! 🤍🖤🤍🖤

Catch up with your teammates, coaches and managers, while making sure you’re registered, sorted and ready to go for the new season.

We’ll also have:

🦷 Kana Health Group joining us, giving players the opportunity to get a professionally moulded gum shield ready for the season.

👕 OSO will be there with your stash packs, playing shorts and socks, so you can get your kit sorted too.

🔥 The BBQ will be fired up
🎶 Music will be on
🏉 And we’re sure there’ll be a game of touch or two!

It’s a great chance to get everyone back together before the season gets underway.

We can’t wait to see you!

South Africa 🇿🇦 and New Zealand 🇳🇿 renew one of rugby’s fiercest rivalries on Saturday 29th August — and we’re showing it live at Milton Keynes Rugby Club.

📺 Catch every tackle, try and talking point on the big screen and TVs around the clubhouse.

🍔🍺 We’ll also have special food and drink offers running throughout the day, so get down early, settle in and make an afternoon of it.
