Milton Keynes Junior Badminton Club Session 2 is for more experienced players up to county standard. We have 4 courts and full use of the sports hall at Shenley Leisure Centre.

Milton Keynes Junior Badminton Club (MKJBC) is a friendly club for players aged 8 to 18 years old based at Shenley Leisure Centre, which is run by the parents of the players. At MKJBC we provide coaching for all levels and abilities, for children between 8 and 18 years old.We run two sessions every Saturday: Session 1 is for beginners plus, running from 12.30-2.30. Both sessions are run by Badmint

on England Level 2 coaches, and supported by Badminton England Level 1 Coaches. Each session consists of: fitness; coaching of skills, tactics and technique; and matches and fun games. Once a month we hold a tournament so you can test out your badminton skills! We are a fun and friendly club, so come along for a taster session as a visitor and try out some badminton! The new season is not far away and we are looking forward to seeing the players back after the summer break.
The first Saturday will be 7th September with Session 1 at 12:30 and Session 2 at 14:30.

Hello everyone. A reminder that next week is the last session of the year so we will all be playing our end of season doubles tournament at Shenley Leisure Centre from 12:30 - 4:30pm for 4 hours. Everyone is welcome to bring a parent or a friend to come and play as well. Look forward to seeing you there! :)

Once again the end of year approaches and we are looking forward to celebrating with our traditional party. This will be on the last session of this year, Saturday 16th July. (Date for diaries: Return Sat 10th Sept)

Everyone related to the MKJBC is invited. This includes players, their family members and a friend if they wish.

The party is between 12.30pm and 4.30pm and will be full of competitions and fun games. In addition there will be party food around 2.30pm to 3.00pm and an awards presentation around 4.15pm.

It will be lovely to see you all there and participating in this fun event!

We had a great first session back after the Easter holidays today, lots of exercise to burn off those Easter eggs! Looking forward to another great session next week.
